Live video: Hurricane Ian as breaches the West coast of Florida

Hurricane conditions continue to spread across portions of Southwestern Florida.

As of the 2:00 p.m., the National Hurricane Center, is reporting that the eyewall of Hurricane Ian is continue to move onshore on the west coast. Hurricane Ian is currently located about 50 miles South, Southwest of of Punta Gorda, Florida and 25 miles North Northwest of Fort Myers, Florida.

Hurricane Ian remains a category 4 Hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 155 mph and is moving  in a north-northeast direction at 9 MPH.

The center of Ian is expected to move onshore soon, move over central Florida tonight and Thursday morning.

The whole state of Florida remains under a Tropical storm warning.
