You might be thinking that they are already married!  Well this is the official wedding license to make it legal in the state of California.  The two kept it simple by only inviting a few to the courthouse to celebrate prior to the big bash coming in Italy.  The couples children were not even present.  The couple released black and white photos of them afterward.
