Jeremy Renner is sharing some horrifying details about his New Year’s Day snow plough accident.

During a new interview with ABC’s Diane Sawyer, Renner said, “I believe I could see my eye with my other eye” when one of them bulged out of its socket.

Doctors were able to rebuild the actor’s eye socket with metal plates and screws, and he now has full vision in both eyes again.

Renner said he was “awake through every moment” of the accident.
