Hats Off Awards Salute Nonprofit Heroes With Some Surprises in Store

Nonprofits First, Inc. will host its fourth annual Hats Off Nonprofit Awards on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 6 p.m. The event, which will be held live and virtually, will honor more than 100 nominees in 10 categories from across Palm Beach County’s nonprofit sector for their dedication to service and the business of doing good. Tickets are $20. VIP tickets are $150 and include a bottle of sparkling wine, a bottle of bubbles, a party hat or crown, other surprises, plus a chance to win a $500 Amazon gift card.  Both can be purchased at HatsOffAwards.org.

While the festivities will be live streamed from Nonprofit First’s headquarters, they promise to be lively and entertaining. Special guest appearances, a best hat contest and the People’s Choice Award will all take place along with the live announcement of the winners.

“We are giving it our all to make this event special and memorable like it has been in the past, even though it’s virtual,” said Nonprofits First CEO Jessica Cecere. “It’s so important to recognize the people who are going the extra mile to serve our community.

This year’s sponsors include FPL and Valley Bank, and there are many sponsorship opportunities still available. Funds raised from the Hats Off Nonprofit Awards benefit Nonprofits First educational programs. These programs focus on professional development, leadership, and training that nonprofit community volunteers and employees need to lead and succeed.
