MANDEL PUBLIC LIBRARY OF WEST PALM BEACH TO HOST JOB FAIR

Event to feature major local and national companies
Job seekers are invited to attend the Hospitality and Retail Job Fair at the Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach on Thursday, Oct. 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to learn more about hundreds of current job openings. Participating employers include Coca-Cola, Marriott International, MorseLife and more.
Employers will be recruiting for various full-, part-time and seasonal positions. U.S. military veterans, eligible spouses and persons with disabilities will have priority access to the event beginning at 10:30 a.m.
“Our goal at the library is to provide continuous vital services and resources for our community, from job fairs to free support from licensed social workers and homework tutoring for students,” shared Lisa Hathaway, director of the Mandel Public Library. “We see our role at the library as so much more than most people envision. We are here for all ages with four floors full of free programs, services, learning opportunities, technology and a connection to the community and broader world.”
The Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach is located at 411 Clematis Street. Free parking is available in the City Hall parking garage only. Job fair attendees must present their parking ticket to library staff for validation.
The job fair is presented in partnership with CareerSource of Palm Beach County and is open to the public. Attendees should bring copies of their resume and dress for success.
