WHEN: Saturday January 19th, 2019 – 10:00AM to 2:00PM
WHERE: Consolidated Credit, 5701 W Sunrise Blvd. Fort Lauderdale, FL 33313
WHY: Because homeownership, attained through prudent lending practices, confers benefits for the homeowner’s family and their surrounding community, including improved health and school performance for children, increased civic engagement and volunteering, reduced crime, higher lifetime wealth and it improves the overall quality of life. Additionally, homeownership helps create jobs – lots of them – right here close to home.
AREA OF IMPACT: The goal is to reach individuals and families living in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade Counties who are ready to buy a house or would like to purchase a house but may feel that it is not attainable at this time. It is our intention to show these people that lenders have mortgage programs for low and moderate income families, and more importantly, that the counties and some cities have down payment assistance programs to help make their dream of homeownership a reality. There will be representation from the City of Lauderhill, Plantation, Sunrise and Tamarac at the event and there will be information available for other cities in the tri-county area as well.
