ABC/Randy HolmesAs concerts left and right are cancelled or pushed back due to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, Billie Eilish issued a candid apology to fans after her WHERE DO WE GO North American tour was placed on hold until further notice.

“I’m so sad to do this,” the 18-year-old wrote on Thursday, “but we need to postpone these dates to keep everyone safe.”

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has cautioned against mass gatherings to mitigate the spread of the contagious virus.

Continues Eilish, “We’ll let you know when they can be rescheduled.  Please keep yourself healthy. I love you.”

The suspended WHERE DO WE GO tour dates are from March 13 in Philadelphia to March 28 in St. Louis, Missouri.   Her team has already confirmed that tickets purchased for the original shows will be honored for the new dates.

At this time, the new dates have not been announced, but Eilish asserts her team will alert ticket holders “soon.”

At least 1,663 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the United States.  The death toll in America currently stands at 40.
