This is a great video on some cool cookie decor for the 4th but want to know my hack?  Instead of regular sprinkles on sugar cookies for the 4th use POP ROCKS and when the kids put them in their mouths.  Boom!  A Firecracker cookie!   Use this hack this 4th of July and the kids will love it!
