WHO IS THIS DANNY CZEKALINSKI GUY???

Danny has been a morning air-personality since 1990. He is originally from Cleveland. Ohio but has worked in Wichita, Grand Rapids, Oklahoma City, Kansas City, and Cleveland before he moved to West Palm Beach and WRMF in 2004. His mother has been living in Palm Beach Gardens since 1987 and like any only child he moved here to keep an eye on his inheritance.

In his spare time he likes to obsessively clean his house and ride his Harley Road King Classic. On September 6, 2008 Danny suffered a severe accident when he swerved to avoid an armadillo. He suffered six broken ribs, a dislocated shoulder, broken collar bone, a blown out sinus cavity and twelve stitches to his forehead. We all are glad he is on his way to a full recovery because all he did is whine and we all were ready to give him a round house kick to the face.

FIVE QUESTIONS FOR DANNY

What's your biggest weakness?

I've got OCD and am a perfectionist.  The OCD hits me from time to time and I can't stop cleaning.  I can't leave any laundry in the laundry basket.  I am always searching for the best glass cleaner.  I love paper towels.  A shop vac is my best friend because it sucks up everything.  It's difficult for others to be around me because I'm always following them around with a cleaning solution and rag in my hand.  I have to constantly remind myself that I can't expect others to live like me.

What gets on your nerves?

Fake people, crazy drivers, lazy people, Samantha Ronson, poor grammar, sub-woofers, shirts with fish on them, bad teeth, low-talkers, women that wear sandals and don't paint their toes, liars and people that knock on my door trying to sell me something.

What's the deal with the engagements and marriages?

Five engagements and two marriages but no kids.  I made mistakes but I embrace them.  Hopefully you learn from your mistakes and become a better person.  I would like to get married again but would be fine if that didn't happen.  I won't marry just to get married.  She has to truly be a special person.

Who are your heroes?

My father who passed away June 29th 1999 and my mother.  If I can life half the life that they have then I will rest in peace.

What is a typical day like for you?

I get up at 1:30 in the morning and immediately get on the computer.  I have two in my office and that's how I plan the show.  I look for anything and everything to read and/or talk about.  I get to the station around four and look for audio to play back on the show.   At five thirty the crew is in studio and ready to go.  At ten we have a show meeting and hopefully I am out of the station by eleven.  When I get home I go back to my office and start looking for more stuff for the next day's show.  Nap time is 1PM-3:30PM.   At 4PM I try and get some exercise in and then I shower around 5PM and start preparing dinner.  I usually get to bed around 10PM and then the process starts all over again.  There is little free time in my weekday.  Weekends are when I get to relax.
